Nya super spelkonsolen XBox 720

Det skrivs en hel del om Microsofts nya XBox 720 konsol som troligen släpps först till julhandeln 2013. Det är lite väl långt bort och innan dess kommer Nintendos nya Wii konsol ta marknadsandelar. Nyligen läkte ett 56 sidor stort dokument från Microsoft där man kunde läsa om kommande Metro UI och ett par smarta glasögon samt SmartGlass som Microsoft nyligen presenterade.

SmartGlass är en teknik för att trådlöst streama/skicka video från din Surfplatta eller mobil till din TV. Den funktionen ser vi redan i t.ex. de senare mobilerna från HTC.

Dokumentet var daterat två år tillbaks men gav ändå viktig information om kommande saker från Microsoft.

Nya spelkonsolen från Wii är en riktigt kul sak med en separat handkontroll med inbyggd skärm. Med den kan man antingen hålla den i handen eller lägga på golvet vilket är bra på golfspelen där man ser bollen och peggen.

En bildsökning på Google efter den nya Xbox 720 visar många kreativa designer men troligen inte så den kommer se ut. Mest troligt kommer den likna sin föregångare och med bättre ventilation samt klara kraftigare hårdvara. Troligt är också att den blir mindre och mer anpassad till ett modernt vardagsrum.

Den nya Xbox 720 kommer ha minst 6 ggr snabbare hårdvara, 1080p med 3D support, Blue-Ray läsare och en hel del grafik prestanda. Några rykten säger konsolen kommer få två grafik processorer som arbetar sida vid sida (som två grafikkort med SLI?) och är troligen ett krav för snabba 3D spel. Processor blir troligen en 16-kärnig variant och det låter inte helt fel då produkten ska släppas under slutet av 2013.

Mjukvaran baseras troligen på nya Windows 8 med DirektX 11. Ganska nyligen hade Lionhead studio en jobbannons ute där de sökte efter DirektX 11 programmerare.

Hur mycket skulle en Xbox 720 kosta? Ja det skrivs mycket om att ingen skulle betala mer än ca 4000 kr för en spelkonsol och att XBox 720 skulle kosta runt 3000 kr i handeln. I vilket fall beror det på vilket spelutbud det kommer finnas.. inga spel = ingen försäljning.

Nya super spelkonsolen XBox 720

Det skrivs en hel del om Microsofts nya XBox 720 konsol som troligen släpps först till julhandeln 2013. Det är lite väl långt bort och innan dess kommer Nintendos nya Wii konsol ta marknadsandelar. Nyligen läkte ett 56 sidor stort dokument från Microsoft där man kunde läsa om kommande Metro UI och ett par smarta glasögon samt SmartGlass som Microsoft nyligen presenterade.

SmartGlass är en teknik för att trådlöst streama/skicka video från din Surfplatta eller mobil till din TV. Den funktionen ser vi redan i t.ex. de senare mobilerna från HTC.

Dokumentet var daterat två år tillbaks men gav ändå viktig information om kommande saker från Microsoft.

Nya spelkonsolen från Wii är en riktigt kul sak med en separat handkontroll med inbyggd skärm. Med den kan man antingen hålla den i handen eller lägga på golvet vilket är bra på golfspelen där man ser bollen och peggen.

En bildsökning på Google efter den nya Xbox 720 visar många kreativa designer men troligen inte så den kommer se ut. Mest troligt kommer den likna sin föregångare och med bättre ventilation samt klara kraftigare hårdvara. Troligt är också att den blir mindre och mer anpassad till ett modernt vardagsrum.

Den nya Xbox 720 kommer ha minst 6 ggr snabbare hårdvara, 1080p med 3D support, Blue-Ray läsare och en hel del grafik prestanda. Några rykten säger konsolen kommer få två grafik processorer som arbetar sida vid sida (som två grafikkort med SLI?) och är troligen ett krav för snabba 3D spel. Processor blir troligen en 16-kärnig variant och det låter inte helt fel då produkten ska släppas under slutet av 2013.

Mjukvaran baseras troligen på nya Windows 8 med DirektX 11. Ganska nyligen hade Lionhead studio en jobbannons ute där de sökte efter DirektX 11 programmerare.

Hur mycket skulle en Xbox 720 kosta? Ja det skrivs mycket om att ingen skulle betala mer än ca 4000 kr för en spelkonsol och att XBox 720 skulle kosta runt 3000 kr i handeln. I vilket fall beror det på vilket spelutbud det kommer finnas.. inga spel = ingen försäljning.

NHL GameCenter LIVE™ (Worldwide except Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden). Hockey fans will be able to enjoy every moment of the live action as it happens on the ice, with live games (out of market and blackout restrictions apply), more in-game interactivity, and replays and highlights on demand any time.
ESPN (U.S.). Later this year fans will enjoy 24/7 live programming through WatchESPN from ESPN Networks – ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3 and ESPN U.
